After years of teaching golf as a club professional and then building a successful Internet company I turned my attention to the business that has always been at the heart of the Beaudin Family: Hockey.
Innovative Hockey Products and Off-Ice Training
Seeing my family establish their Tampa Bay business, The Beaudins Hockey Zone, I was inspired to realize my own entrepreneurial dream of creating a sports marketing business, and in 2001 I founded Modern Hockey. In the course of my research and travels to industry trade shows I found that I had a strong connection to specialty items and niche product ideas that fell outside the mainstream realm of the big five hockey brands. With a modern approach to sport, focusing on items of extraordinary design, function and ecological sensitivity, paired with old-school values of quality and integrity, Modern Hockey established a unique place in the hockey industry that holds strong today.
In 2004, Floorball was introduced to me by Swedish Hockey Legend Borje Salming and I immediately understood the significance of the opportunity to be a big part of the development of Floorball Hockey in North America. Now, most of my attention is now centered on introducing Floorball to young Hockey players and the Canadian School system.
